Amanda Sawyer

Overview

Dr. Amanda Sawyer is a Research Scientist at the AdventHealth Center for Whole-Person Research. Amanda earned a doctoral degree in Public Affairs with a focus in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Central Florida. She also earned a master’s degree in International Affairs with a focus in Public Administration from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She has a background in psychology with specific research expertise in psychoeducational interventions to improve whole-person health and secondary data analysis on multi-level impacts on tobacco use. She is currently the principal investigator on interventional studies to improve mental well-being among clinicians.
