Senior Manager Institute Development
Michelle Wilder leads the Institute Development Office (IDO) and their Consultative Delivery Team of Portfolio / Program Managers, Project Coordinators, and Research Specialists, providing customized services to all the Institutes and leadership. As the Senior Manager of the IDO, Michelle exercises agility in approaching project management and guides her team of servant leaders to provide value-driven, practical strategies tailored to support all stages of programs and projects. These collaborations leverage the team’s combined expertise in technology, data analytics, process architecture, and change management. During the last two years, she has overseen some key accomplishments: With a focus on process improvement, she introduced process architecture, to the Institute, with the help of a Professional Business Process Analyst. In 2021 a website was published showcasing AHRI Researchers, with up-to-date researcher profiles populated with publications. In 2022, her team started to engage in more powerful reporting, to build concrete and actionable data that will allow for sustainable strategic business decisions.
Previously, Michelle worked with AdventHealth’s technology team as an IT ERP Technical Project Manager. In this role, she implemented over 35 projects over four years and monitored stakeholder engagement with as many as 100 stakeholders on a given project. Over three decades, Michelle has been instrumental in bringing project management to a wide array of industries, on both the east and west coasts and internationally. She attributes her success to being flexible, having a nimble and growth mindset, and fostering a workplace atmosphere that encourages others toward their best achievements.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from New York University Stern School of Business and an MBA from New York Institute of Technology, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. She holds professional certifications in project management, agile methodologies, lean six sigma, and change management. She has been actively involved in many charities throughout Central Florida and has been a speaker at the Healthcare Industry User Group on Project Management since 2019.
