A Phase II Pilot Study of Donor-Derived Ex-VivoExpanded Natural Killer Cell Infusions in Childrenand Young Adults with High-Risk Acute Myeloid Leukemia Receiving Myeloablative HLA Haploidentical Hematopoietic Cell Transplant: A Multicenter Pediatric Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Consortium (PTCTC) Study (EXCEL Trial) PTCTC CT2001.
Participants will be invited to join this study if they have a blood disease called acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and it has been decided that they need a transplant as part of their treatment plan. The purpose of this research is to find out whether donor NK cells grown in a laboratory to large numbers and infused into your body as part of your planned transplant is helpful in decreasing the chance that your AML will come back (relapse).
