Research Finance is a centralized service department within the AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI). Our primary responsibility is to maintain the financial integrity of research related activities.

Research Finance functions include:

• ensure compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the OMB Uniform Guidance
• post-award accounting for grants
• accounting for research studies, including invoicing
• assist research departments to ensure appropriate and timely revenue recognition and to reimburse AdventHealth ancillary departments for their services
• develop finance policies and procedures in compliance with regulations
• assist research departments with annual budget preparation
• monitor research departments’ monthly performance to identify areas of opportunity and expense control
• provide analysis and strategic support to AHRI's senior leadership
