The Global Robotics Institute (GRI) offers treatment of many conditions using the da Vinci Surgical System with positive results. The da Vinci® robot allows our experienced surgeons to transfer their skills into a laparoscopic environment that employs highly precise instruments and magnified vision. This minimally invasive procedure is quickly gaining popularity as the most preferred cancer treatment for surgical removal of the prostate.  However, it has been clearly established that the machine alone is not responsible for the outcome, but that physician experience and expertise is a prime factor.

We take a multi-modality and multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, collaborating with experts in radiation oncology, medical oncology and internal medicine to provide the optimal comprehensive approach to urologic cancer to our patients. Surgery is not the best option for all patients; therefore, we evaluate each patient individually and assess the potential prostate treatment options of active surveillance, radiation therapy, androgen deprivation and other surgical modalities.

At the GRI, our research team focuses on understanding the factors that contribute to superior results. Our clinical successes have been presented as outcomes data at international conferences and have been published in critically reviewed journals worldwide.
