CLASP IID/IIF - A prospective, multicenter, randomized, controlled pivotal trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of transcatheter mitral valve repair with the Edwards PASCAL Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair System compared to Abbott Mitraclip in patients with degenerative mitral regurgitation.

The goal of this study is to assess the safety and performance of the PASCAL System in patients with symptomatic degenerative mitral regurgitation (DMR). Up to 300 participants will take part in this randomized study at up to 75 international study centers. Up to 60 patients at AdventHealth Orlando will participate in this study.
