The purpose of this research is to evaluate the investigational Aortix System. The Aortix System is not approved by the FDA. The system has been designed for use in patients hospitalized with heart failure (HF) who still have symptoms even after taking medications. The Aortix System includes a pump placed in the body, which we hope may help the heart and the kidneys to perform better.
