Ammar Hussain, MD, is board certified in neurology and psychiatry, with a special qualification in pediatric neurology. He specializes in helping patients with pediatric epilepsy syndromes, seizures, and other neurological disorders. His outstanding credentials include his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Hussain completed his pediatric neurology residency and advanced fellowship training in epilepsy at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He formerly served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology/Division of Pediatric Neurology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. Dr. Hussain is a member of the American Epilepsy Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
