Overview
Fahd Ali, MD, provides complex emergency, trauma and general surgery for patients in the Orlando, Florida area.
Because he is grateful for the excellent surgeons who once cared for him, Dr. Ali feels called to give back. He devotes his life work to helping very sick patients through surgery and recovery. In addition, Dr. Ali has extensive experience providing care as an intensivist to patients in hospital surgical critical care units.
Dr. Ali earned his medical degree with highest honors at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed a trauma and critical care fellowship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and performed a residency in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Ali has received multiple awards over the years, including patient choice awards, an NAACP award for community service and violence prevention, a service award from the New York State Legislature, and a New York State Trooper award for outstanding service.
He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Medical Association.
