DEI Program Manager
INPRACTICE: Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN)
Jasmine Jones serves as the Operations Manager for AdventHealth’s Center for Whole Person Research. In this role, Jasmine leads a team that supports five biobehavioral research scientists, including three PhDs, that focus their research on the role of social determinants on overall health outcomes. Jasmine joined the AdventHealth family as an intern in 2010 working with Volunteer Services, Business Development, and Community Relations. She also has served as a Strategic Account Manager with the Health Performance Strategies team, where she worked on a project focusing on the health transformation of a university campus for students, faculty, and staff.
Prior to attending graduate school, Jones worked as a congregation-based community organizer in a neighboring county, working with community members and local officials to increase accountability and implement action plans to resolve critical community needs. This background has underscored Jasmine’s ongoing drive to make a difference in her community and empower those residing in underserved areas. Her role at AdventHealth allows Jasmine to extend the reach of health resources into the community, while enhancing and contributing to their positive transformation.
Jasmine earned an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida.
