Jennifer Lyden serves as Manager, Clinical Research Operations, AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI). Joining AHRI during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, bringing research experience from pediatrics and the bedside. In 2023, Jennifer took over daily operations for the Heart, Lung Vascular Institute and Transplant Institute
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science Nursing from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Initially focusing on the most vulnerable population, children, Jennifer gained experience in Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant at Children’s Healthcare of Alabama and then at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston (Emory). Her focus for her 25 years at bedside became Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU and backed up Pediatric CVICU units. In 2009, Jennifer gained experience with ECMO providing care to children and neonates at Nicklaus Children’s, formerly Miami Children's Hospital. She later joined Nemours Childrens Hospital in Orlando as the first staff supporting the NICU and PICU before arriving at AdventHealth as a Level IV Neonatal ICU nurse.
Jennifer leverages her leadership skills working behind the scenes to improve the standards of care – collaborating with physicians, scientists, and nurses to execute the best clinical trial experience possible for both the patient and AdventHealth.
