Overview
Dr. Reina Mayor is board certified in neonatal and perinatal medicine. She joined AdventHealth for Children in 2014 and her current areas of research interest are post-partum depression and the impact of maternal diet on fetal lung development. She received her MD from George Washington School of Medicine in 2008 and did her fellowship in neonatal/perinatal medicine at the University of Texas at Southwestern Dallas and her pediatric residency at Baylor College. In 2014, she received a Young Investigator of the Year Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Mayor co-chairs the AdventHealth Women’s and Children’s Ethics and Compassion Council and was integral in the implementation of compassion rounds in the NICU.
