Stephanie Harris

Overview

Stephanie Harris, MLS earned her master’s degree in Library Science with a concentration in health librarianship from the University of Maryland at College Park. She joined AdventHealth in 2016 as an embedded librarian and transitioned into the role of scientist. Her research interests include workforce health, spirituality in healthcare personnel, and qualitative research. She has worked as a librarian at the Maryland AIDS Administration Resource Center, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Animal Programs Library, and as a reference and clinical medical librarian at Orlando Health. Her bachelor’s degree is in English with a minor in print journalism. When not working, she runs a charitable foundation for animals in Central Florida.
